Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account data — your email address and username, collected through our identity provider when you sign up.
• Content you post — posts, comments, reactions, and the Nests you create or join.
• Session cookies — essential cookies used to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising trackers today.

Who processes your data

We rely on a small set of processors to run Flock:

• Google Cloud — application hosting and storage, located in the United States.
• Zitadel — our self-hosted identity service, which manages sign-in and account credentials.
• Email delivery provider — used for transactional mail only (sign-in and account notices), never marketing lists.

Retention and deletion

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the app, or by emailing support@flok.lol and asking us to remove it. When your account is deleted, we remove your account data from our systems.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and post a notice on this page before the changes take effect.
